Many people have heard of Affiliate Marketing, but have no idea what is actually is. There are even more people that have never heard of it at all. Hopefully I can provide an understanding of just what it really is.
There are people and businesses all over the world that have something to sell. Perhaps it is a physical product, or perhaps a digital one. Either way, they need someone who wants to buy their product.
On the other side of things, you have people who want to buy such products, but may not know where to go for them.
Enter the Affiliate Marketer…
The Affiliate Marketer brings the buyer and the seller together through advertising and online web pages. By being online, there is no limit to how many people you can reach. That’s pretty much it in a nutshell.
However, it is not as easy as it sounds! There is a lot of work to be done to make all of this happen. You must be diligent and consistent if you want to succeed. Through all of your hard work, you can be very successful. Keep in mind though, this will not happen overnight! Affiliate Marketing is not a get rich quick thing. It takes time and effort to succeed. But, with that said, you will not get rich quick, but you CAN get rich forever! Let that sink in…
Having someone to show you the way, (a mentor), makes things so much easier. They are someone that has been through all of the struggles of what works and what doesn’t. They can guide you in the right direction, and make the journey easier. Don’t get me wrong, there will still be a lot of work on your part, but, if you are serious about building your dream life, it will all be worth it!
If you have read my previous blog posts, you will have read about some of my journey to becoming an Affiliate Marketer. There have been ups and downs, but my mentor has always been there guiding me along. Without him I would have surely been lost!
In closing, I would just like to say that if you are considering becoming an Affiliate Marketer, you definitely want to have a mentor to help you along!

You have provided a good understanding explaining that Affiliate Marketers are those who sit in the middle between merchants who want to promote their products and attract sales and people who are looking for those products.
I love that you point out Affiliate Marketing is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It will require hard work, especially in the beginning but it is a very viable path that can lead to long-term passive income you can earn in your sleep!

Great post. I so agree with you, it takes time to make it work and Affiliate Marketing is the way to do, along with finding a mentor to help you through the process. Giving up isn’t something any of us want to do.
