Hello, and welcome!
Today I am going to talk about overcoming obstacles. I know we all face many obstacles daily that try to deter us from what we want to achieve. My husband and I have both been sick the past few weeks. I had pneumonia right before Christmas, and he has bronchitis and RSV now. Unfortunately, it is hitting him harder than mine did. Could be because he is several years older than me. Anyway, even though we have been dealing with all of this sickness, I am still doing my best to stay focused on my goals! I am not going to let anything stand in the way of my dreams for us! I just have to keep my eyes on the finish line, and keep going forward one step at a time. That is the only way we can achieve what we want in life. If we get knocked down, we just have to get back up and keep going. We have to remind ourselves WHY we are doing this. I know it seems so much easier to just give up, or slack off a bit, but is it really? If you think about it, that just prolongs reaching our goals, and just makes it harder in the long run. Or, if we give up, we do not reach them at all. I don’t know about you, but in my mind either of those scenarios are totally unacceptable!
So, I will leave you with this thought today:
Whatever you want for your life is totally possible, but ONLY if you truly believe it. and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it!
And you do not have to do it alone. There is an entire team dedicated to helping you get there!
Until next time!
Follow your dreams!
Kelli
Sorry to hear that. I hope you and your husband are feeling better now?
I applaud your commitment to your goals.
I wish you lots of success and will achieve your goals in 2024.
Alan,
Yes, we are both feeling much better now! I am ready to get back on track! Much success to you as well!
Hi Kelli,
I hope you get well soon, and way to push through, good for you! My family and I got hit in November and I though I would cough out a lung, maybe both 🙂
So important that “WHY” isn’t it? There’s not much that can keep us going like that!
All the best!
Denny,
Thank you! Yes, the WHY is extremely important! That’s what keeps me going!
I like your attitude. That’s the one of a winner! Keep that mindset. I know when faced with adversity it could be easy to let go however, if you get on your feet and give the efforts where and when needed to pursue the path of your dreams, then all your life changes for the best. Don’t look back or if you do, it’s to appreciate all the progress you have made.
Have a good successful year 2014!
Martin

Hey Kelli
My goodness you and your husband have been going through a rough time with illness – I hope you both get fully back to health soon 🙂
I can’t agree more with the advice you’ve shared… The factor of constantly remembering WHY you’re doing this is so important, even more so when facing challenges!
You will no doubt overcome this and get to your goals I’m sure so keep it up… Rome wasn’t built in a day 🙂

“I haven’t come this far to only come this far.”
Isn’t that a great quote? If I feel stuck or like giving up because things seem to move slowly., I remind myself of this. To me it’s very motivating!
Katrin,
Yes, that is an awesome quote!
